Plus this DLC sounds like it will be totally different. The fact that it is focusing on a different character opens the game up to whole new way to play the levels. Hopefully they will take some of the critics to heart and really make this a robust DLC. Yet the fact that it's not a whole new GTA game is great because it will be cheaper. I'm laughing at the people who think that a new GTA is around the corner, so think people won't get this DLC. With the way software moves on the Xbox 3...
The "Too Human" on the PS3. The amount of hype, talk of sales, and ingenuity, etc. The game didn't deliver that. Not to say the game isn't fun, I've played it. The expectations and hopes were just too high for the game. We know the numbers are good for the amount of time, except this game was supposed to be in the league of Gears 2, Fable 2, and even Mass Effect. Point is that the game is good for what it is, but not what many wanted it to be.
Looks really phenom. If they achieve what I think they are aiming for then this could be the beginning of an incredible franchise. World of Warcraft watch out.
The PS3 is not the problem it is the business I believe which is holding the system back. Not to say the technical side is not an issue, but perhaps Sony just needs to open up the system more for various types of game content. That's something we don't see.
The amount of hype and "PS3 has more variety of games than the Xbox 360. It only has Gears, and Fable 1 was flop. People don't know about Fable 2 and I doubt it will be a great seller on a system for Shooters"
You guys remember that? See this is called Karma. Stop making excuses for the PS3 please. Fanboys are killing it! Many of you were saying "It did great for two days" notice that Fallout 3 was also out for a limited time. So don't use it as an excuse. LBP...
Because he actually talks and walks the walk. Haters act like validation of his games needs to be made based on whether they like a him or not. It's stupid, because they don't even know him. So they judge him without ever having a conversation, eating at his table, laughing or crying with him. My dad always said judge a person slowly.
One day when he's not around anymore it will be his games and how those who loved him remember him by. Thank you Cliff and Epic you make gaming wo...
guys do have to justify PSN. It happens with every game that is on the system. Look above you, why are people commenting on Resistance 2? What does that game have to do with this thread? Let me know when it sells 2 million, and you have a rush of those consumers headed online.
I'm saying put this in it's right perspective. Who cares about Warhawk? Your example again does not fit the issue. It's OXM in UK...How great is the online service in that territory? How many people have ba...
I played the game online, and I'm sorry PS3 Stans stop looking for a scapegoat. There have been waaaaaaaaaaaay to many PS3 PSN games with problems, and no one ever said that problems can't be overcome.
The point is that the increase in people who know about Gears, playing Gears, and bought Gears is cause a minority of issues. The title sold 2 mill plus you think everyone of those people were going to not have an issue? Lame...
Have a phrase called "Money talks, and bullshyt walks"
Gears as a series talks, and walks. Cliff doesn't talk out his as/s and not back it up. I remember the first premier of Gears 2 earlier this year, and how many haters came out the wood works saying the game wouldn't live up to the first. From graphics to gameplay. All these haters just kept on talking about Cliff and his style of promoting the game. With no validation of him saying or doing anything wrong. What's ev...
Is actually an incredible game. The demo just expanded what I thought could be done in FPS games. That alone has me wanting the game.
I can't stand when people bring up Gears in threads like these. You can always see who the haters are. To say Cliff isn't a great game designer really flies in the face of what that Orignal IP for this generation has done.
Onslaught has games in his list that have over two sequels in them that are still not in the league of Gears. Th...
by its demo alone has destroyed the FPS genre for good. Honestly I was hooked from the first two lessons on the control scheme. Just fantastic. Even when you are fighting the option to slow time, you get the feeling that flow is very integral and can be controlled by the player. It was like being Neo in the Matrix when you are asked to jump to the next building. You don't think you will make it till you personalize the fact that you can. Picking your destination to get to the next area is exh...
